You couldn't be a bit more precise, could you?
No, iambic pentameters need 10 syllables and alexandrines 12.
Hi Woodelf

Only the title of your post is here.
an octosyllable?
Indefatigability
Sesquipedalianism? :)
Good, but only 7...
^doesn't ism count as two?
Why do we bother ourselves with OPs who don't provide enough information?
> doesn't ism count as two

No.
^No? One and a half then? That would be appropriate for the etymology. :)
For Bookbinder

Woodelf is registered blind and uses various bits of technology to access the net. He probably has made an error and will correct things in time.
My apologies to woodelf.
Indeed. Woodelf is a top bloke, though, and won't mind at all...
Hysterosalpingography springs to mind.
Absolutely! He truly is an inspiration and is one of the several ABers who put me to shame when I think I'm having a bad day...

I just hope that this makes it this time! My apologies to Bookbinder and Many Thanks to MarkRae and Howard for their kind words of support. I am using a screen reader, but the AB site is very unstable and the page/screen shifts about...it's hard to descrie...and it is difficult to find the edit field in which I type my question and the fact that this is a new version of my screen reader seems to make it even more difficult, so apologies again and I only hope that I can find the submit button when I've finished this. My question was Rupert Brooke wrote a beautiful poem, in which eeach line only had 8 syllables, but I can't remember the poem; anyone help with this? Ta Muchly...now to find the submit button.
