You need to note what is in their house before making such a decision - art of any form is a hard one to call unless you know them well, as it is so personal.

So, overall, I don't think we can really help you here.
good morning.

you cannot beat countryside landscapes, i am a fan of bob ross.
here is an example of his work.

First off, I'd recommend going somewhere else - I've had lots of trouble with that site. It's rubbish, terrible unreliable service, very expensive and poor choice.

Apart from that go with abstract impressionism.
there is also the work of christain reece-lassen.
he specialises in ocean views and ocean life (whales etc)

You cannot beat enroling here as a new member and putting up a site link to buy things from. I'm sure whatever you choose will be just fine.
You really shouldn't be encouraging stuckism. Encourage your friends to go for challenging conceptual pieces and outsider works.
begin by spraypainting obscene graffiti across their living room walls then throw up on their bed - not only will it cost very little, within hours it will be the talk of the tate.
I have had a good look at the painting and like this one.

So many genres and styles to choose from. Have you thought about getting them a toaster?
Can I just ask is your name supposed to be ' paint art' or ' pain tart', as one I might be interested in the other I'm not so sure ;-)
I rather like that MT.......kind of meaty - though I guess Spam can't be classified as "meat"
You could buy them a subscription to Answerbank......
It's like buying your girlfriend certain garments. Unless you know the person VERY VERY VERY well, then DON'T!
And not from the site that you are advertising.
//// You could buy them a subscription to Answerbank...... ////

Just send your full bank details, all credit card numbers and your house keys to DT, and I'm sure he'll be able to organise a subscription for you
Think I will arrange an auction, kiki!
and paintart could also send the keys to the friends' house - we can then add to the pile....
And then you could draw a pretty picture on the living room wall and save paintart a lot of hassle.

Voila! Answerbank will always come up with a solution to your question
I rather like the one chosen by MT, I think it's kinda fitting, though somewhat boring, you should be very well suited!
Art is such a personal thing that I would avoid buying it as a present, although its a nice thought.
