Thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle. Lots going on a the same time - jumbles, extra letters, quotes and highlighting. Really kept me on my toes all the way through. I particularly liked the clear and concise preamble as quite often I am left wondering what the hell I am supposed to do and at the end if I have indeed done it. Thanks Piccadilly.

Hello Twit-who, yes I have enjoyed this EV, lots of different strands, almost a cable knitting pattern!
Yes, after the extreme agony of last week's highlighting, this was a much better proposition. The h-g was much surprised to receive a pen in the post for his efforts a few weeks back and is relieved to have a matched pair to give his little people. At 21 months I don't think they are fully appreciating the extent of this honour!

Congratulations, Jogler. That makes the 3 of us posting here that have had very recent wins. Mine and Devadolly's were both after years without a win.
With only 52 wins a year one has to be pretty lucky. Congrats to you both too :).
Congrats Joglers, maybe when they are 21 years old they might appreciate the magnitude of the honour.......or perhaps the pens should be kept in trust until they are 30!!
Congratulations Jogler. It's always nice when Abers are successful.

A bit of a messy solve as I took the preamble too literally regarding the numbers of rows/columns where the clues were entered normally.

Good fun though - thanks Piccadilly.
