You really have a serious future as an author if you have to use a crummy public forum to get your character names. Let us know your pen-name so we can avoid your 'work' at all costs.
My name would be Nátulcien Celebrindalhttp://www.chriswetherell.com/elf/index.php quite a fun generator!

One of the things I have to admire about Tolkien is his care in the use of names. Those who try to emulate his type of fantasy subject generally aren't as clever. For example, Tolkien would never have written about a king named Lucullus (Latin based) who had a daughter called Brunhild (Norse). Yet this is a trap that emulators often fall into. Tolkien avoids this and names his characters (and places) in accordance with the imagined form of language in the countries they occupy.
