Song called Matthew?

I seem to recall liking a song in the 80s which I believed was called Matthew or had that heavily featured in the lyrics.

I've googled this, and the only one that keeps popping up is Hey Matthew, which is not the one I'm thinking of. It was probably a cheesy pop song knowing my taste......any help???

More late 60's/early 70's Cat Stevens had a hit with a song called Matthew and Son. Maybe that?

I think the song you mean is "Hey Matthew" by Karael Fialka. Its an anti war song,I remember it well.
