World Book Day

Our local primary school is doing world book tomorrow - I've got a Harry Potter, Pocahontas, Thumberlina (after she married and got her wings) and a Scooby Doo going. What did/are you're little peeps going as?

My grandchildren went as Alice in Wonderland and Buzz Lightyear.

I can remember dressing up for World Book Day as Puss in Boots. I won joint first prize with my best friend who was Shere Khan :-)

It's odd that they are having it on a Monday as they usually do fun stuff on a Friday, there's also Comic Relief this week. Maybe one of the years had something they had to do last Friday. Anyway, only had to get one costume so not too pricey this year.

I went as Mildred from the Worst Witch and my friend went as Maud - I had the hair back then and the 'untidy' look as a kid
