St Wedding Anniversary

I recently posted a question on here to get some ideas as to what to get my wife for our first anniversary. There were some really good ideas on there so thanks for that.

I read a poem out as part of my speech so wanted to do something with that. Not just written out on a bit of paper though. I want to do/make something a bit different with it that ideally doesn't cost anything but if it does......not too much.....about £15ish. Also use the verse from genesis that was read out during the ceremony.

Any suggestions from you intelligent lot???

Do you know anyone who is good at calligraphy?

as paper is traditionally something to do with the first wedding anniversary, how about printing out the poem and the verse and getting them framed?

Unfortunately no I don't know anyone who does calligraphy.........good idea though.

I realise the 1st year is associated with paper which is why I'm opting more for the poem side of things.......just want to do something a bit more than just printing out on a bit of paper a poem and a verse from our ceremony..........its tricky

Swans mate for life and as they are made out of paper.....

A friend of mine gave his wife a pack of loo rolls for their 1st anniversary, when it came to the wood anniversary she got a pencil.......

I was actually considering loo roll.........personalised though.....I don't think I'd get away with "bog" standard!!

I'm tempted to go with our first dance song lyrics either printed out and framed, or in a bottle.......???

maybe do an invitation for dinner, in a bottle. Only thing is I wouldn't have the foggiest on where to get a bottle from? Don't want to get it online as I refuse to pay shipping cost for a bottle.

You could get them printed out on a canvas with a special photo or picture that is special to you both underneath.

or in a photobook, you can get papers ones you can stick photos on and get someone artistic to put the speech or lyrics around the photos as the pages go on.
