Pva Glue

Is it the same as elmers school glue? Attempting to make decopage glue at home on the cheap!!

Well Elmers is made of PVA so it appears to be the same.

3 parts PVA plus 1 part water, and if you want extra gloss to the finish, add a couple of tablespoons of water-based clear varnish. Mix well.
