Sky- Programme Synopsis
12 Answers
We had to disconnect TV, Sky, etc while having new carpets put in living room. Although it is all working again, if you choose a channel from the TV guide, they all say "no programme synopsis available". It does come on if you select the programme and then back-up, but does anyone know how to get them all back on? I have looked through settings, etc.
Would be grateful for any help. Thanks x

Check the tighness of the fittings at the dish in the morning, you never know. You don't realise how much you rely on the TV til it's broken down do you, I'm nearly hanging myself when it happens here :) If you've got sky with internet connection and an iPad/ iPhone/ smart phone etc there's a great Sky+ app, gives the TV guide, alternative airings of programmes,...

Just been on a sky forum and it was suggested that the cables at the dish ay have come loose, given the wind we're getting today it could be a possibility, here's the link

Mine was displaying exactly the same message 'no synopsis available' for days after i moved the tv and box. I managed to fix it by unscrewing both leads from the back of the box. I noticed that the thin copper wire on one of the leads had become crushed and altho it had been screwed on, hadnt been connected proply. So i got it straightened out with a pair of pliars and carefully put it back in. I marked one of the cables with a marker pen so i didnt confuse which one was which. After this the synopsis was back up and on checking the Services>Settings>Signal. Both inputs 1 and 2 were showing full strength again :)
