Have been in action this weekend! I went to a Collie show today with a friend and met up with Jules who was showing her Rough Collies. At the same time Thugulike has been over to Belgium to two international shows with Nesbo, her Mastiff puppy. None of us would ever have met or known about our shared hobby if it had not been for Answerbank! Next meet up may be LKA in December or Crufts, where we may also see Fredpuli. Carakeel will be there too but on Hound day.

Best Puppy Saturday and second on Sunday I believe. I enjoyed the L & P show, rather disappointed in the quality of the Smooths though.

Yes a nice show, havnt been to that venue before, car park was a bit of a nightmare, and my tri played up when I left her to show the puppy, but it was a good day.

My dad took me to a dog show once, it was the day after my first dog died in 1988, he was trying to cheer me up. I loved all the dogs and the different breeds. I wasn't too keen on the smell of dog as we walked into the big room.

Lankeela that is true. I was never going to show my dog. It was you who sent me detailed instructions on what to do at a show which eventually led to my mastiff being top mastiff in the UK 2011. Yes, it's all your fault, you have cost me a fortune! And what fun I've had along the way. I found fredpuli trying to talk to my husband at Crufts because fred thought thugulike was a bloke. Lol
