Help With Product Ideas....

I have been asked to design something innovative, based on Dan Flavin and his art piece "Monument for V.Tatlin." This is for a uni assignment.

I have already asked a similar question and got some great ideas, however I have been told the product needs to be more innovative. Any ideas would be appreciated

How about a DNA barcode in neon lights, using a different colour for the 4 chemical units.
