i dont think theres any 'reason', its just how their legs go i dont think anyone would force their legs to go like that, its just how they find it comfortable it has nothing to do with looking feminine when i was seeing an osteopath he had to continually tell me to uncross my legs (not like this, just lying flat with one across the other) and i kept doing it totally...
Just looked and that is exactly the way I am sitting now, just comfortable. I have always done this and been told off many times as it is not good for the health.
I don't think it's feminine at all, I think it looks a mess. We're told not to cross our legs at all, it's bad for the blood flow - and twisting them round each other doesn't look attractive at all.
What I observed is that only very few girls do it. But the few girls who do it, do it almost all the time. I wonder why? And I think you're right when you say it's bad for blood flow because I've seen girls who did this until their bottom leg turned purplish.
just out of habit for example, when I'm stressed or concentrating on something at work I'll double cross my legs automatically, then realise later that my legs going dead. But if I'm at a restaurant or at home and relaxed I don't.
What made you think of it Kenken?
Peaspeculiars - Well firstly I'm just curious about it but find it awkward to ask people outside. Secondly, maybe oddly, I like the way it looks very much. And I was wondering how you feel when you sit like that because I can't sit like that.
