Does anyone know what I can do to stop spiders making webs and blocking the "eye" of the CCTV camera please?
Every morning and night, I have to take the webs (and spiders) off the front of the lens as it blocks the view !!!
I've had moths occasionally, but spiders seem to visit constantly. I wondered if it was the warmth they were attracted to, but if I put Vaseline or something similar around the casing, I imagine other insects will get stuck as well.
Has anyone any ideas please?
many thanks

Thanks to all 3 of you, I had thought about conkers, but will try those and the WD40 until the SpiderX arrives, I've just ordered some. Didn't know it existed. Very grateful for all your help.

In the meantime put some lemon polish on a rag and wipe around the edge of the casing- spiders hate lemon polish, which is why our house reeks like a lemonade factory:)
just in case you were wondering, the Spider Ex spray has been brilliant. I've only put one spray on each camera, and it has been spider-free for nearly 3 weeks. Very grateful for your suggestions. Many thanks
