Parental Permission For Dating?
8 Answers
I'm 14, and my parents haven't really spoken to my parents about dating. Whenever it is even briefly mentioned, they presume I am grossed out by guys, but I'm not. I don't have anyone in mind to fate, but I would like a clearer picture on what my parents think, and I can't bring it up myself.
is it okay to go out being their backs if I don't feel they'd support me?
what should I do?

I would wait until there is someone who asks you out. Then just tell them that you are going out with this person. They are unlikely to refuse as you are no longer a young child and are likely to have friends of both sexes.

It is quite natural for girls your age to start wondering about relationships and sex. You certainly should not go out behind their back if they don't approve. You are a minor and they are responsible for you.
You may be surprised how understanding and supportive your parents may be if you discuss your apprehension with them. Remember, your parent were your age once.
At 14 there are many years of pleasurable 'young people' years ahead of you. Would it really be wise to tie your self down before you are 20 or so?
Enjoy being young
