How Do I Overcome Fear Of Woody's New Hats?

I have the weirdest phobia in the world because I am the only 1 person in the world who has my phobia. Woody is an animated character from Toy Story films. He is a pull string cowboy doll. I am fear of his new hats because I want him to wear his cowboy hat all the time. When my family and I watched Toy Story 3 in the theater, I was very upset when Woody wore a party hat because he never wore a different hat. When I watched the first Toy Story short, Hawaiian Vacation, I was crying when Woody wore a straw hat and I could not look at his new hat. When I watched the second Toy Story TV special, Toy Story That Time Forgot, I was still scared when he wore a Santa hat because I wanted him to wear the same hat all the time. This is the important question because I want to get rid of my phobia and need your help now.

and we have some of the weirdest phobia therapists in the world

they have very good results - you know I think youll get over this phobia quite soon and start leading a normal liff

My grandson age 2 shares your phobia. He has a toy 'Woody' and cries if he loses his cowboy hat. We often need to go on a 'hat hunt' to find Woody's hat.

Well as for the OP, it doesn't sound like a phobia to me, but it does sound like an unusual emotional reaction. Would be useful to discuss with a doc regarding identifying the underlying condition that triggers it. Or, as has been suggested, one could avoid situations where it is triggered and hope it hasn't any other symptoms.
