Does anyone know of a site that shows all of the covers that a book has had over the years. I know that the British Library has a copy of every edition of books published in Britain, but I can't find a way accessing that info on their site.

Try fantastic fiction site. I've added a link to this book and by scrolling down shows all the versions available. (This was AC's first book)

Do you have a particular book in mind? You could try Amazon and eBay from time to time. Amazon sell both new and second hand books. I recently bought a copy of 'Bella' by Jilly Cooper, which was first published in 1976. It's been printed up several times over the years with different covers. I went for a one from the early 1980's

Perhaps one day the British Library will scan the covers from their vast collection and publish them online. It will, of course, be a 'work in progress'

Thankyou for both of your answers,I will give them a go.
I'm watching "The Game" on BBC2 and in episode 3 there was some business with "The Dice Man" and I wondered if that was the actual cover from the early 1970s. I also wondered how they got the copies,at least one of which was pristine,if they printed the covers and bound them especially because there were no signs of aging on the books.
