Bermuda
I might be going to Bermuda in June. I have looked at the beach (most important part for me) photos on Tripadvisor and you never see many people in the sea. I`m wondering if, as it`s the Atlantic that the sea might be freezing. Does anyone know? I know a couple of people on here have connections with Bermuda. I have been there a few times about 20 years ago but only remember whizzing around on mopeds and visiting beaches and I don`t remember going in the sea.

I remember swimming at Elbow beach, which was fairly warm and calm, I think protected by a reef or something.

Resorts own chunks of the beaches, as I recall, but their guests only tend to swim in the pools so that might make the beaches appear empty.

Thanks for the replies. Elbow beach looks nice for a day trip although there is no shade so probably wouldn`t stay long. The place I`m interested in is the other end of the island. Some of the women at aqua yesterday were wearing those rash vest thingies. Maybe I`ll get one of them it it`s too cold! Don`t know if I`m going yet - I`ll stay in this country if the weather`s nice so I`ll see how it pans out.
