2/3rds done, a wee way to go yet, but knowing some of you like seeing 'work in progress.... thte pic turns back on itself, perspective-wise on the left, windows to go in and more of the slates, never mind all the vegetation.... the chimney dates back to the 12thC!

What do the people do with your drawings? I would imagine that one large copy/print could be framed and put on a wall.

I have no artistic talent at all - my brother's kids made birthday cards for my cats. Even the six year old produced a masterpiece that was much better than anything that I could produce.

that's lovleee DT xx
Great drawing. If I had one criticism, it would be the Oriel, it just lacks a little impact. Is this your property?

It's a pub in Devon, postcards, cards and prints.......thanks for the remarks. I too have noted that the oriel, as you put it, needs a little strengthening - there's still a lot to do as well, down the left side and the all the vegetation across the left half along with a low wall, benches and tables too.....
It's brilliant :-) what's an oriel?
A round window, I think, pixie.

DT that's lovely :))
Pixie, the bay window to the right of the front porch roof.
Question Author
I've just strengthened up the shading and it looks better.....
Oops...why did i think it was round ??
Thank you :-). I thought it was a window (or bird...), but couldn't see anything obvious x
Seeks, oriel sounds sort of roundish.
Lovely pic, and the name of the Inn? I recognise it but I can't place it, I know I have supped an ale or two in there.
Is it the Nobody Inn at Doddiscombsleigh, they have one of the best whiskey menus in the country, I have sampled more than one of them :-)
Yes, ratter
I thought so, I used to live about 20 minutes drive from there, a lovely little village.
Thanx for sharing your lovely pic DTC, here is Choccy Drop & Whisky

Question Author
Is that yours, tambo?

Yes it's the Nobody, 280 whiskies indeed, the largest on offer outside Scotland and cracking good pub food too, everything homemade.
Looking forward to seeing the end result.
