My friend's father passed away recently and when sorting through some of his belongings, they came across a picture of 4 people and he's wondering who they all are:

I know the guy on the left is Henry Cooper and we think that the guy next to the lady may be Frankie Vaughan (not too sure though) ...... as for the other 2 ..... any ideas please ??

Ooh never thought of that - I'll text him now and ask him to look at the original photo.
1) I think is our enery Cooper the boxer
he floored Mohd Ali but didnt win

3) is Frankie Vaughan

oops those are in your OP
Could it be a photo taken for a local paper - the bloke in the glasses is looking in a different direction.
Probably Joe and Joan Public who have just won something, with a presentation from a couple of celebrities. Does the bloke look at all like your friend's late father perhaps ? Or friends/relatives ?
Cooper and Vaughn were both heavily involved with charities.
Could be, Canary, seeing that who could be Joe and Joan public are standing just in front of the two celebrities.
Just for the record, there is no second 'a' in Vaughn.

I don't want this thread to go off topic, but according to Wiki (and google), it's spelt Vaughan:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankie_Vaughan
Wiki disagrees with me but I always remember his name being spelt as Vaughn.
Jackdaw- are you thinking of Man From Uncle's Robert Vaughn?
The BBC called him Vaughan to.

Apologies. I was thinking of Robert Vaughn, The Man from UNCLE.

My friend has been back in touch. The words he can make out on the piccie are:

"The LA (fingers in way of next word) horror film"

The rest of the writing on the card is too small to make out :(
My guess is that the picture was taken at the UK film premiere of . . .
