I'm helping my friends son with his Welsh GCSE and to gain top marks he needs to include some rhetorical questions in his writing. The only one I know is 'who knows? Pwy a ŵyr?'
Anybody know any more that he could use?
South Wales versions please

How much longer must we put up with English incomers?
Who Cares?      Pwy sy'n gofalu.
Why Bother?   Pam trafferthu.
Who's counting?   Sy'n cyfrif
How should I know?    Sut dylwyn I wybod
What was that? Beth oedd hynny

Was you son born in Wales Jubie? My son and daughter were, and both speak Welsh. My daughter is particularly good.

Thank you Togo they are great. It's my friends son I'm helping and yes he was born in Wales as am I. I can speak some Welsh But I'm not fluent.
None of those answers seem 'typically Welsh' just the sort of questions that are asked in any language. Are there not some sayings that you rarely hear in other parts of the UK?
I don't think 'typical' was the remit, simply 'rhetorical' to be translated into Welsh.

I couldn't do the latter but kindly Togo has.
A small i is used for the personal pronoun in Welsh: Sut dylwn i wybod?
Mae'n gas gennyf y Saesneg
That was to Eddie^^

I don't think they have to be typically Welsh Eddie. It just says that to gain extra marks to include idioms and rhetorical questions. I have a list of idioms but I was struggling with the rhetorical questions.

Thank you jackdaw for pointing that out
I think Togo is trying to say he hates the English but it comes out as I hate the English language.

That is exactly what the Welsh speakers mean Jackdaw.
