The Devil You Know by Mike Carey
Its about a chap called Felix Castor who can see the dead and get rid of ghosts, didn't think I would like it to start with but have really got into it now.

My last book was The book of Negroes a award winning novel based on a true story. The main character who's name evades me was truly inspirational

For my sins, The Dancing detective by a certain A N Widdecombe. On principle I do not leave novels unfinished unless they are very very putrid. However, this one just might qualify for jettisoning if I read another chapter or two. But that's what you risk when you buy your books hastily in jumble sales.
