I read a book some 20 years ago about a farmyard run by a Rooster(no not Animal Farm) which was terrorised by a rat who finally got his come-uppence when the rooster stuck two feathers into the rat's shoulderblades thus stopping him backing out of a hole. Vague I know, but a very good book as I recall - loads of other characters
