I have been sponsoring a little girl in Ethiopia for about 15 years now - and I know that she is not a little girl anymore - anyway thought the money went onto another kid which I was happy with.
Gets a letter from the Trust - we no longer can find the little girl in question as she has moved out of the village so we do not require your sponsorship any longer.
Why not address the first paragraph rather than focussing on the second?
I personally think the charity shot themselves in the foot. They could have introduced you to other youngsters to sponsor. They were upfront and you seem reluctant to acknowledge that, for whatever reason.
georgie - I am not fishing for compliments - I was introduced to her via my friend who also sponsors another little girl. Her name is Zewditu - lovely kid - she sent me photos and when she started to learn English - wrote me a few letters. So that was nice.
I would be a bit taken back by that too Conne..would expect them to transfer your kind donation to another child perhaps.....? however it was the correct thing to let you know the girl had moved..... I do not think there is any need for such rudeness to be shown towards Conne either
