This is a bit of a shot in the dark. Thirty years ago (at least) I read a Mr Pink Whistle story about him asking someone in his railway carriage to swop seats with him. The story went along the lines that without changing seat he would become travel sick. All went well until the day there wasn't anyone in the carriage to swop with it. Does anyone know the story and book.

Hi tiger, I can remember The Adventures of Mr Pink Whistle, although not that actual story. There is also a book called Mr PinkWhistle intereferes but have never read it.

I don't remember that story, but I can tell you that there were three Mr Pink Whistle books in all ( I was a bit of an Enid Blyton completist as a child!)

Does anyone else think his name is rather rude now that they are older?

Hi roomby, mmm I hadn't thought of that. What were the titles and I'll try and track them down. thanks

I remember that story but can't remember which book it was in, sorry.

Are they still in print? I thought Enid Blyton is now frowned upon by the educational establishment as being non-PC.

tigerthecat, you can buy the mr pinkwhistle trilogy on amazon, i've discovered. just do a search in books for 'mr pinkwhistle'...

Good luck
