Hello All
Long time no see, long story short, moved house, changed job, been I'll, AKA daily life! But, to business- I have a Chinese stainless steel slicing knife and the handle can be a touch difficult to hold, obviously meaning a reduction in safety. Any ideas how I can improve the grip whilst maintaining its hygiene standards?
I'm looking for something permanent, washable, and hygienic, even if it includes physical alteration i.e. adding scales etc. "Lazzies" round the handle does sound like a good temporary fix but I'm looking for permanency as it is my go to knife for virtually all my "kitchen duties"!
Find a plastic container to fit the size you want for the handle, ie ice lolly container. Mix resin in container, insert handle, wait for hard set (24hrs). Remove container and voila. You could score the set resin for non-slip grip.
