Catholic Herald

Hi! I'm doing the Catholic Herald cryptic crossword and am puzzled by this clue:
19d: Forearm bone (4) and the letters I have are U?N?
The answer is obviously ULNA, which is a forearm bone, but I fail to see what is cryptic about that? Am I missing something or has a rogue straight clue somehow crept into the cryptic?
