Getting book copyright back from publisher
Does anyone know how I can get the copyright back from the publisher?
The book did not sell well and I have several other openings for it, but only if I can own the copyright myself.
Thanks.

You could try rewriting the book so you don't use the same phrasing. Ideas cant be copyrighted.
Society of Authors should be able to give advice.
I don't know if what happened to you is standard. My book is coming out yext year and I retain the copyright - and the final proof that I've seen says so.
best of luck
