A Sense Of An Ending By Julian Barnes.

I read this all in one go yesterday. Anybody else read it ? I thought it so approachable , perceptive, wise and also funny. Perhaps you have to have had quite a lot of water under the bridge - or soap under the wedding ring as Kingsley Amis said - to get the best out of it. It probably wouldn't have meant so much to me when I was younger.
SPOILER SPOILER - I didn't quite understand why the change of name was necessary with one of the characters at the end. But a wonderful book.
