My nan had a picture on her wall. In the 1970's.

I think the picture was very popular at the time, I'm sure I've seen it on walls, in old tv programmes

Dark haired lady, hair style like Rita Hayworth, red flower behind ear and a white v neck jumper on, she looked Mediterranean. It could have been a Spanish holiday souvenir.

I've spent hours searching, it's not Lynch, Tretchkioff, but of that era.

Anyone any ideas? I'd love to know what the picture was called and I'd love to get a copy...

Ahhh, sadly no.

This woman was more like a 50's movie star, like Rita Hayworth, cid charrise, full of glamour, not so much a gypsy or Spanish dancing lady. It was a picture people had on their suburban house walls in the 70's
Cider---I have just googled-'painting of Spanish lady 1970s' . When it came up with them I clicked on images and there must have been a hundred or more pictures. You might just be lucky and find the one that you are looking for.
