As a youngster, I read a series of books by a childrens author called Rob/Robert Lee about an underwater fish detective (no not James Pond of Robocod) and his sidekick. I can't remember any of the titles and was hoping someone out there can recall them all and let me know where I can find them. I've searched all over the net and only ever come up with the former Newcastle and England midfielder who has nothing to do with them but happens to have the same name.

Also I would like to get my hands on a copy of '' the Mouse Butcher'' by Dick King Smith but it has ceased to publish, any ideas??

A copy of every book published in the UK has to be lodged with the British Library but there are no children's titles listed on their website by anyone called Robert Lee. There are several children's titles by Rob Lee. Ignoring his Fireman Sam series, these titles are Birthday Surprise, Clowning Around, Come In Number 37, Elvis's Big Day and The Fairground Rescue. Unfortunately, none of these sound as if they've got a 'fishy' theme!

Second hand copies of The Mouse Butcher are available through Amazon. Check these links:
(The first 2 links are for cheap paperback copies. The 3rd link is for (very) expensive hardback copies)
