Ok heres the question
will harry go to hogwarts in book 7? i know he said he wouldn't at dumbledores funeral so he could look for and destroy voldemorts horcuxes, but 7 books, 7 years at hogwarts. What do you think?????

harry was dumbledores man through and through and i dont think harry could bear to go back without him there plus he will no longer be able to call it home, i think he will look for the horcuxes to destroy voldermort, on his own cos he does'nt want to put his best friends in danger. i hope something good happens cos i feel depressed about dumbledores death.

I don't think he will go back either. How on earth is he going to find those horcruxes if he's in Hogwarts. I think it will be much plausible and probably easier for Rowling to write if doesn't go back.

But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. *sigh* :)

he'll find the horcuxes, but the showdown, between H and V will so happen at hogwarts. It has too. It would be dissappointing if it doesn't. harry's life mirrors Voldemorts in so many ways even down to the way the regard Hogwarts as their real home. Even Dumbledore as their father/grandfathe. I expect the last horcrux will be something to do with hogwarts and that Voldemort will try to get to it before Harry does...etc etc. Hogwarts is the centre of the potter universe, it has to be revisted in some way.

Are you gonna go to the cinema on the weekend?

You are so clever mimififi! That makes a lot of sense and we do need to "see" Hogwarts again. I saw the film monday night and it was excellent!

HP will return to the school - but given how much of the 'action' of the last two books was outside Hogwarts (in London at the Ministry, on the coast, etc), it won't really matter. Remember, you can't (dis)apparate from the school or grounds but in the GoF you can use a Portkey... and flue powder works, too, doesn't it?

Harry has to return to 4 Privet Drive to receive the 'booster' of his mother's love (through Petunia's gritted teeth). Voldemort feared Dumbledore above all other wizards which made Hogwarts safe for Harry. So the question is, is Harry safer outside school or inside? [Outside, he will have Snape to worry about too - and how's that to be resolved? Dumbledore trusted and even vouched for Snape at the Wizengamot (sp?).]

I could go on and on and on but how about, as a closing set of chapters: Ron is Captain of Quiddith/Head Boy (see Book 1) and marries Hermione; Ginny is reunited with Harry at the very end; Harry becomes the Defence against the Dark Arts Teacher - with Voldemort gone, who needs Aurers?; Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle (sons and fathers) go to Azkhaban;Minerva McGonagal becomes Headmaster; Hagrid and Olympe share more than a common bone structure; Cornelius Fudge resigns; and, and... oh well, we'll just have to wait, won't we.

Oh, saw the film last Friday and agree it was excellent - but I did miss Dobby handing over the Gillyweed...

Is Dumbledore actualy dead. Remember he holds(held) Snape in great store. When he said please did he mean please do it rather than please don't do it.

I don't think Dumbledore is dead. Since he did trust Snape so much I think Snape and Dumbledore had it worked out so that Snape could trick the Death Eaters into believing he had killed Dumbledore and protect Malfoy in the bargin.

The "magic" at Dumbledore's funeral, when he just disappeared, left me with questions as to whether is was really dead or just going undercover so that his movements would not be detected. Remember, Dumbledore has never given Harry complete information.

I do believe that the final battle between Harry and Voldemort will take place at Hogwarts. This is where both of them are the strongest. I think that Dumbledore and Voldemort will begin the battle, and for once, Harry will save Dumbledore and defeat "The Dark Lord."

i don't think he will go back to hogwarts for school, like cliffsdoll said he wouldn't be able to go back to hogwarts without dumbledore, kaltus, did you consider that one of them may be at hogwarts? just a theroy, but its possible.... i agree with mimififi though, he has to go back to hogwarts, even if it's not for school.
