Epic Browser
5 Answers
Chris, having seen your recommendation of Epic as a browser, I've tried to download it, but I have pressed 'Download now' twice now, all I get is a box in the bottom-left of my screen which says epicsetup.exe, runs only for a few seconds then stops and just says epicsetup.exe. I now can't find it to make a shortcut and make it into my browser.
Is it lurking somewhere....?

If so, double-click on the file to run it. (The installation files are then downloaded and installed). Once the program has been installed, you can launch it from the desktop shortcut, from your taskbar or via Start > All Programs.
If you can't find epicsetup.exe in your Downloads folder, click on this link to download it:
https:/ /cdn.ep icbrows er.com/ epicset up.exe
(If you're offered a choice between 'Run' and 'Save', select 'Save'). Then proceed as above.

>>> it would surely take more than just a few seconds to download?
epicsetup.exe is a tiny file (1.7 Mb, which is smaller than a single image taken on a digital camera), which downloads almost instantaneously. You then need to run that file to start the installation process, which starts with the 'true' setup files being downloaded and continues automatically with those files then being used to install the program.
It's still not clear to me as to whether you've actually got epicsetup.exe on your computer. (It's that program you need to be looking for and not the Epic browser per se. Once you've found it, you then need to double-click on it).
