Twitter: Changing Display Language

On my PC (Windows 10, Internet Explorer), the dispaly language is French. This is not a problem as I speak French but, if I change the language to English (which it does) then save and close Twitter, when I open it again, it has gone back to French. In Twitter I do the following:

Accueil (Home)
Plus (More)
Paramètres (Settings)
Données et Autorisations (Data and Permissions)
Langue d'Affichage (Display language) which I change to English
Enregistrer (Save)
