naomi - I specialise in buildings so I guess stone becomes pretty prevalent - flint, I groan at....there was this one in Norfolk, and for eleanor, I discovered that the limestone came from Caen rather than elsewhere in the UK as it was easier to transport back in the 12th/13th century....
