Good morning, Steff (et al).
I couldn't believe that the questions were all so easy this week. I usually need a bit of head-scratching (and occasionally a bit of googling) before I can offer any answers. By then, Mamyalynne has usually beaten me by several minutes ;-)

I hope that your hairdresser's name isn't Daniel McIntyre, Steff ;-)

I had a trim today. My barber for the last 20 years, Tony, decided to retire during the summer lockdown and hasn't re-opened, but instead sold the business to another barber. A few years ago Tony bought the premises next door to his and opened a ladies hairdressers which his daughter manages. On and off over the last 10 years she has also helped Tony out cutting mens hair, especially when he was having cancer treatment. Now she has a sign outside stating that they were also doing mens haircuts, so I went and saw her rather than seeing the new kid on the block.
Over the last 5 years a lot of barber shops, often Turkish, and sometimes unisex, have opened in our town. Unfortunately they all seem obsessed with just using clippers to cut hair. Remembering the butchers of my childhood tearing away with blunt hand clippers, this lass knows my preference for a cut using scissors.

I'll just be glad when I actually need a haircut again!
I was only one or two days into my seven-month course of chemotherapy when me hair started falling out (and I didn't have a lot to start with!). Three months after the course finished, I've still got no eyebrows or eyelashes and the hair on my head (as well as on the 'more intimate' parts of my body!) is only just starting to grow back again.
My last haircut was a week or two before or after Christmas 2019 and I can't see me needing another for quite a while yet!
(With my luck, we'll probably be in the middle of a 'hard lockdown' at the point when I finally decide that my hair really needs cutting anyway!)
