Bbc Quiz : Week 30

A fairly easy week, I think.

Several of the stories covered in the adult quiz have had quite a bit of prominence in the news media, which largely explains how I managed to achieve a decent score of FIVE out of seven. (i.e. I'd actually read some of the stories for once!).

The junior quiz is fairly easy too, as it includes a bit of general knowledge and some very simple maths. So I scored FOUR out of five.

I'd hardly regard 4/7 as poor, Mamya. In some weeks hardly anyone manages to score that high ;-)

I don't think that I'm familiar with Batham's beers, Piggy but I'm not really familiar with much of the Black Country anyway.

I was floundering, up the creek without a paddle. 4 Questions answered and all incorrectly. Then 3 really good guesses saved my eternal shame. 3/7
However, proving i'm a bit of a kid at heart, 5/5 with the junior version (and only one of them was a guess) :-)

OH has been in hospital with a chest infection for a few days. The dogs missed him but Shady never even noticed.
Hence haven't seen much news this week, well that's
my excuse for the rubbish scores.
