Started with The Beezer, then moved on to The Lion (Robot Archie my favourite), The Victor and Valiant, which had non-illustrated short stories
Bunty and Mandy and when I got older Jackie.
My avatar was a prolific illustrator of comics :)
I loved my comics & they were (are?) a great way to get kids to read.

Dandy/Beano/Topper/Beezer when I was young. Then got into Mad Magazine & cowboy & war stories. More recently VIZ (lol!)

I loved the Broons and Oor Wullie Corby, they used to come out alternate years and my Dad would call and buy it for me as an extra birthday present,on his way home from work
My Nan used to buy us grandchildren comics. I think I had the Beano, mostly. Occasionally, Beezer & Topper. Loved them!

I later went to the Marilyn,The Valentine ( especial when there was free transfers of Cliff and Adam Faith etc, I ruined many a top ironing those on
Beano and Dandy and also liked Eagle and Hotspur passed on from the lads next door. Always a bit of a tomboy!

I used to get the annuals as a Christmas present.

I can't mind on the set up but I mind on Wullie eating mince and ice cream for some reason.

That must of been when he went to the but’ n ben Corby, or was that the Broons, they must of been a rich Glaswegian big family to have weekend cottage
