If anyone has a copy of the book "The Second I Saw You" (The true love story of Rupert Brooke and Phyllis Gardner)by Lorna C Beckett, is the book cover illustration an autumnal scene, e.g. woman with autumn leaves in apron, etc and if so, is the illustration quoted anywhere on the cover? Very Many Thanks for any help with this. Ta Muchly.
the back cover appears to be a woodcut (or something looking like one) of a woman sitting on a hill of flowers and fallen leaves looking at a river. She is not wearing an apron, or indeed anything at all.
Very Many Thanks Sparkly and LIK for the speed of your answers and though nowt about the cover, I know for sure the publisher, so the next step is to get onto them. Many Thanks again.
