not simile - doesnt have 'like' = as in it

Metaphor and / or personification

Personification is literally treating an object as a person, therefore the idea of the fruit and your stomach not being friends personifies them.

A simile would've been "The green fruit was like battery acid to my stomach."

I can't decide between metaphor/ personification.

Some kind soul, please educate me,,,

Well personification is treating something as if it were a person, and a metaphor is when some lady introduces you to her four kids.

Metaphor is saying something but meaning something else. Example "I metaphor for dinner"
