A smart looking envelope arrived this morning addressed to both my husband and me by name.  He said 'That looks like an invitation'.  It was.  From the LibDems inviting us to vote for them!   It's been filed in the appropriate place - the recycling bin.   It made us laugh though.

I had a barely legible post card from an Indy candidate. He used a font that looks like a spider had walked across it with ink on its feet. Basically it said vote for me because I haven't got a dentist! Duly filed in the recycling!

Not exactly the mail, but I've had a run of very poor Premium Bond results in the last few months, finally reaching the nadir of nothing at all in the last draw ... that was my Disappointment Of The Day that day.
