I loved the story about the donkey - very uplifting. It looks so contented amongst its new 'family'

Yes, Toorak.  He clearly regards himself as one of the herd and, surprisingly perhaps, he appears to be very welcome among them.

It's nice that the donkey is obviously happy with his new herd.  I'm wondering a bit about his lack of a halter or anything else, however.  The story given was that he panicked about something and bolted so surely he would have had some form of harness?  Probably me - just wondering how expensive vets' fees are in the USA? They're bad enough here.

They certainly are.  I saw a Facebook post about our local vet recently, which said that someone had taken their pet to them for a consultation and came away with nothing more than some flea treatment - plus a bill for £110!

Aww, donkey looks right at home with the elks! Lovely story.

So glad the puppies were saved from the fire and nobody was hurt. Our Firemen do a great job.
