Hello again!

Whenever I do quite well in the adult quiz, such as with the FIVE out of seven that I scored this week,
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-69407063

. . . I seem to do poorly in the junior one, such as with my score of just TWO out of five this week:

Your turn, anyway!

Good Evening, Chris!

Although we are away on holiday I just had to drop in for your Friday night quizzes.

My scores tonight are 4/7, 4/5

We have all settled in to our holiday cottage which is stunning. Lots of beams, beautiful walled garden, evening chill-out converted out building/barn and my favourite - the roll top bath.

Not been to Wensleydale Railway as yet, but visited 2 excellent railway museums - Hopetown railway museum in Darlington and Locomotion museum in Shildon, where we saw the Flying Scotsman (well one of them!). Both free admission and well worth a visit.

Wishing you and kitties a wonderful week ahead. Hope they have all been behaving themselves :-)

You beat me again, Buen! I seem to be stuck on the 3s.  3/7 and 3/5... aggregate 6.

It's been another fairly (very) horrid week is my only defence.  :)

Hi, Karamia!

Lovely to see you here again!

Well done on beating my aggregate score!

I'm glad that you enjoyed Hopetown Darlington (as it was among my suggestions for activities) and the Locomotion museum too.  I hope that you'll be able to get to the Wensleydale railway on one of their opening days.

The Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway is open this weekend, with steam services running on both days. (It's about 50 miles from Richmond):

The idea of the Feline Threesome 'behaving themselves' is one that's totally foreign to me - and to them too!  They're still as lovely as ever really though!

We all wish you all wish you a lovely time for the rest of your holiday!

It could have been a lot worse, I suppose, Jourdain2!

I hope that the forthcoming week will be much better for you than the one that we've just had!

4 and 4

Question Author

Well done, Scorpiojo!

You're currently keeping Karamia company at the top of the table!

5/7 v 4/7

2/5 v 2/5

Not exactly brilliant

My quest for Shara has been a total disaster : I have applied on line to adopt - no reply, I have phoned - no answer, I have emailed - email blocked. I'll start again on Monday 😿

Hope your 3 are causing much chaos and confusion....

I hang my head in shame, shame, shame! I scored two out of seven, but please, please don't tell anyone! Promise?

5/7 & 3/5

Evening Chris.

4/7

3/5

Hope this finds you well  ; ))

Question Author

^^^ I've scored worse than that before now, Bookbinder!

Are you going to give the junior quiz a go?

Thanks for allowing me to sneak ahead of you this week, Haras2!

I hope that you'll have more luck in contacting the rescue centre soon.

My three can always be relied upon to cause chaos and confusion!

Question Author

Well done, Lie-in King!

Joint top, as usual!

Question Author

Hi, Sam!

Thanks for keeping me company on an aggregate score of 7 this week!

We're all fine here, thanks, as we hope that you are too!

Not good at all, as usual. 2 and 3.

Question Author

Well, at least you're better at being a kid than I am, Clover 😄

3/7, 3/5.Just as well I watched the ranger being interviewed about the fat bear competition this morning. Puss Puss and Bailey happy to have me back from Birmingham, think they may have missed out on a couple of treats in my absence. Hope all is good with you and yours

Question Author

Hi Campbellking,

Decent enough scores from you this week, I think.

I read the Fat Bear story but still couldn't remember the name of the winner!

I hope that you're making some extra special fuss of Puss Puss and Bailey by way of apology for deserting them!

Have a good week!

Evening all.

3/7 and 2/5.

I listen to a lot of news programmes on the radio but judging from my scores what I hear seems to be going in one ear and out the other without registering.

Question Author

^^^ I had that problem at school, Sandy! 😊

Thanks for joining in, anyway!

6/7 in the main quiz - as some of you will have heard me say on gthese pages that Cricket is definitely not my sport, you will most likely guess which question i got wrong.

Have to say the question about space is somewhat incorrectly worded as all 3 are goddesses, not gods.

3/5 in the jnr quiz - got the first 3 correct then ran out of steam.
