Because I bought a quite expensive poppy pashmina type scarf from the National Memorial Arboritum, paid quite a lot for it and wear it a lot. I figure that's my contribution till the day I die 😁
During and after lockdown I stopped buying a poppy, partly because we didn't go to places which were selling them, and now because I pay for everything by card and have had two £10 notes in my purse for about two months and have no change.

And I know all about the sacrifices our servicemen and women made during the wars. My grandad was a PoW in WWII.
I choose to give to other charities.
