What kind of cretin, having been offered help from Nigel Farage, one of Trump's closest friends, to try to ease the damaged relationship by the tirade of historic & recent insults on him by members of the Labour Party, offered only for the sake of Britain, would eschew that offer, saying that it was unnecessary because we have a perfectly good foreign secretary in the form of David Lammy -  a clown who has called Trump a Nazi, a Fascist and a KKK member & much more and who thinks Marie Antoinette discovered penicillin ?

"one of Trump's closest friends"

🤣

Lammy's description of Trump was one of the few times I've agreed with him.

mozz71, trump is president in waiting of the most powerful nations on this planet, like or loath we need america on side, they do not need us, kier and lammy are both incompetent fools, would you let them represent your company if you had one, chuckle brothers by different mothers, imagine ..we don't like your companies ceo and don't need your billion dollar investment.

Mozz, you may have agreed with him but in international politics diplomacy is everything.

Not so Naomi. Would you call trump diplomatic?

No I wouldn't bednobs - but he isnt liked and doesn't need to be. Fortunately for him he doesn't need to cosy up to anyone.

Particularly with Nigel providing advice to the dream team of Kemi and Priti.

You are saying you think Donald Trump is a racist and a KKK/neo-Nazi sympathiser, a woman-hating, sociopath.

Have I got that correct?

Looks like you have Khandro

The left always put ideology first and carry on until they run out of other peoples money.

I personally think the UK is finished.  The idiot Robber Reeves trying to emulate Bidens economics when history now shows us economically they dont work is un believable.

Farage, love him or loath him, does have direct access to the Worlds most powerful man for the next four years, this is a terrific opportunity for the UK to get ahead.  Also Teump being half British does have an affinity for us.  A wise man would utilise all this for gain.

But then a wise man in the labour Government?

YMB, It saddens me to say it but I think this country is finished too.

Would you believe it - the headline in today's Telegraph is, David Lammy has warned Donald Trump against “hurting” allies of the US with import tariffs.

Lammy warns Trump !!       He's not only stupid and out of his depth, he's arrogantly so.

Lammy is an embarrassment.

From the Telegraph;

Asked if he would seek to ensure there were no extra tariffs imposed on UK goods, Mr Lammy said;

"We will seek to ensure and get across to the United States , and i beieve they would understand this, that hurting your closest allies would not be in your medium to long term interests, whatever the pursuit of public policy in relation to some of the problems posed by China."

Hardly a warning. One ought to always read the words below  the headline.

The headline calls it a warning.

ken, It sounds like warning to me, as well as the Telegraph editor;

warn·ing

n.

1. A statement telling of or an indication providing evidence of impending danger, difficulty, or misfortune: The government issued a warning about unsafe drinking water. The shelf collapsed without any warning.

2. Advice to be cautious: a word of warning to runners about the hot weather.

Advice to be cautious: a word of warning to runners about the   hot weather.

Yes, Khandro, but having read the headline i would have expected to then read something more strongly worded. What i read sounds more like advice.

Thats ok then, I'm sure Mr Trump will be hanging on Lammys every word of "advice". 🙄

Sure it's not LAMBY? What a berk🤣
