Biggest selling UK black artist

Someone at work's just told me that Billy Ocean is the biggest selling black uk artist of all time. Is this true?

I guess we need to take into account US sales a well, and discount groups (although I'd beinterested in those as well).

I can't think of any others who have been as successfull as you say if you included world wide sales.

I thought Aswad were the biggest selling British black artists.
UB40 arent strictly black are they but they have sold an ridiculous amount of records?
I'd like to know the answer but i'd be surprised if it is Mr Ocean.
