Name of a book...

Hey im 15 and when i was younger in primary school, i bought this book and it was about this family who had everything in spots and stripes, it wasnt an old book.

The father liked stipes (had stripey trousers etc) and the mother liked spots(had spotty clothes), in the book they went to a zoo, with the father favouring the zebra say! lol, i cant remember it exactly, but any ideas would be great, thankyou SSxx

It is called 'My mum and dad make me laugh'
The author is Nick Sharratt (spelling?). It is one of my favourite children's books.
The children in my class love it.
