Has anyone read this book? I know it is part of a series, but can anyone tell me if they are sequential, as in do you need to read them in the right order!?

It's the second in the Red Riding quartet and is in the order=1974, 1977, 1980, 1983. Amazon pretty good stock wise usually.

thanks sethjnr can you tell me if the books are related in terms of characters and events - ie does one need to read 1974 before 1977?
