I have just found this author and am ploughing through his books. I think he has to be one of the funniest writers I have come across but none of my friends have heard about him, does anyone else think he is hilarious

I've read several of his books and they are great. The last was Double Whammy.

I have read several of his books ..hilariously funny , sardonic and satirical all at the same time. A friend of mine didn't like the ones I lent her and said that they were all a rehash of the same plots .They are in a way but he draws the characters so vividly.I think he is quite concerned with the environment in his native Florida..hence the books.. and he used to be a journalist.

dead good, he's one of those great authors destined for the Publisher's Clearance shops along with the brilliant Christopher Brookmyre, while idiots who read one book a year buy 'The DaVinci Code' in their droves.

Jamesy...agree wholeheartedly with you lol. rocky, if you like Hiaason, you'll love Christopher Brookmyre...a Scottish version of Hiaason if you like. Brillantly funny, some of the best books I've read are by CB.
