Im writing a piece of non fiction coursework for english. I have to talk about prices at one point and am wondering which of the following i should use: �799 799 pounds 799 Pounds Which one is correct? I'm not sure about capital letter business. Thank you and have a ncie day pop xx

Exact prices are normally written using the '�' symbol and adding the pence figures, even if there are no pence...hence �799.00 would be acceptable for your situation.
