Dolphin you may take the stars away from rimram.....vampire my rear...the main difference is the morgan freeman character is a white irishman...the tim robbins character is the same you can find the original (rita hatworth and the....) in the collection of novelas called Different Seasons...the story is a old recurring theme of innocent man wrongly imprisoned but as far as i can tell SK wrote an original story.
